When some days just become too unbearable and I find it hard to love myself,
I am reminded of your gaze, which knows how to embrace me,
knows how I like it, make the butterflies turn beasts,
making me gasp for air.
Ah, those eyes are of a monster trying to eat me up, but oh so gently,
making me sweat that sweat, making me turn and twist, leading me back to your embrace.
It's frightening how I still want it,
more and more by every passing day.
But oh, I know how you like it too,
body on fire, sensitive like a touch-me-not.
Did I just see you gasp for air?
Did I just make you sweat that sweat?
And twist and turn back into my embrace.
Was it my gaze that made your eyes roll back,
made you smile that smile and move the way you did?
I smirked.
Was I the monster all along?
Did my demons bring out yours?
Ah! I'm overwhelmed.
I made you feel that way,
On that one day,
when you forgot how to love yourself.
