Manifesting Death of Life

By Sagar Rautela

Manifesting death over life
Isn't the thing for which you should strive.
The death not too far in the eleventh hour
Will you embrace it or hide the scar?
The soul will scream in a gust of wind,
While the flesh decays, and time wears thin.
You’ll join the throng, yet remain unseen,
Your wish fulfilled, but your heart wiped clean.
A hunger for resurrection will consume your mind,
But no glimpse of light will you ever find.
Lost in the void, a shadow untied,
A hollow figure where you once thrived.
So tell me—
Do you still summon death at night?
