When I used to be a child,
I was not afraid of the world.
I used to wish upon my dreams—
Nothing was dark for me,
So light and easy was everything.
Each and every part of my life was gold to me,
Each and every cry and smile was important to me.
Lovely pink dresses, chocolates, and Barbie stuff,
Fairy tales, tiaras, and teddies were part of my life.
Everything was meaningful and joyous to me.
Love was natural—no boundaries or fences.
Everything was open,
Simply like doors of castles.
Tears were real, smiles were real,
Living was real.
That side of innocence was real,
The heart was real.
Real like dreams,
Heaven-like golden pink.
Clouds were white and soft,
Days were fresh and sharp.
Cuteness was at its peak,
People's love was a blessing.
No harm, no fears,
Lessons were learned with utmost desire.
Cradled thoughts like a baby,
Treated like a baby.
Though it didn’t survive long—
And thus came the end of my world,
Which broke my lovely childhood days
Forever, so hard to remember long.
