LIFE IS AN EXAMINATION

Each day as the sun rises,
It is time to ponder over our choices.
Is it really helping or harming?
Should be judged by soulfully examining.

Everything starts from the Creator,
Who sets questions for we, the actors.
If our answers have all His pleasing factors,
We will pass His exam completely — as true actors.

Scripture’s hidden purpose is this examination,
For which human birth is the main condition.
Those who falter will be subjected to rotation,
Waiting for another chance to complete, for liberation.

Saints repeat the importance of human birth,
As one-in-a-million chance to secure a berth.
If we pass the exam by constantly pleasing Him,
We go back home to enjoy eternal bliss with Him.

Two kinds of people become willing to try 
One who is suffering, others who are learned.
Though the efforts by each may be different,
Ultimately their goal of eternal bliss is not different.

Life is full of distractions; each appears important.
Alas, how can we overcome them to reach our God?
Only by constantly thanking and showing gratitude to the Lord,
Thus developing positive vibrations which will enable it to happen.
