been trying to figure out life
been a bit difficult, the theories are rife
does religion have any real answers?
just absolute ones, it seems like cancer
invading and ignoring reason
spreading and dividing humans is religion
leaving us with more questions than before
let’s just keep the morals of all its lore
science has lifted us above par
from all the answers, we’re still quite far
with experiment as a rule, it’s our best bet
with reason as a tool, it’s not a threat
it still has the Self to figure out
which has left a bit of room for doubt
since the Self is the most important part
each and every one here, even if we seem apart
while in reality, we are not
we share one home, this pale blue dot
so one thing seems clear in mind
above all else, to be kind!
