द्रवित हृदय प्रकृति ने
जब से ली अंगड़ाई है,
लोभी क्रूर मानवता पर
बड़ी आपदा आई है।
चहूँ ओर नवरंग है,
चहूँ ओर हरियाली है
केवल मानव के मुख पर
छाई उदासी काली है।
क्षुब्ध होकर मानव कृत्यों से,
ये बाजी उसने खेली है,
हँसते हुए मानव की
सुध-बुध उसने ले ली है।
शोक सागर में डूबा मानव
तरसा एक-एक श्वास को,
यही सोचकर मानवता
पलपल, छिन-छिन रोई है।
ये कर्ज़ प्रकृति का
मानव पर रहेगा,
जब तक अवनि है।
कोई माने या ना माने
लेकिन ये विपदा
हमने ही बोई है।
