Kohinoor

By Subhrasankar Das

Welcome to the exhibition of grudge,
and yes you can throw me out of the hall.
Suppose…if you lose faith in me ,
you'll succeed in widening the path of your freedom.
Diamonds will roll down from the third eye.

Don't you Remember ?
Our house is made of titanium
and we played Russian roulette almost everyday.
Waving our hands over the guns, we could presume
which hole holds the bullet and which hole contains wind.
We’ve never hesitated to pull the trigger.
Despite being so poor and cunning,
we failed to defeat each other.

Every time, when we're about to solve the last matrix,
an albatross would come , snatch the gun away and
hide  in the bedroom of Earls .

Van Gogh is your favorite painter.
Behind his portrait, imitating the shape of his ear,
I had made a cave .
Failing to spread our scandals,
a worthless owl lives there  like an empress.

The old Marlin returns from the bank

The ancient Mariner starts his Magrib prayer beside the garden pond
