Blind to the issues,
Oblivious to the facts,
Not raising your voices,
You succumb to them.
 
Supposedly choosing,
You make the choice,
You feel you are in control,
But, are you in control?
 
Hands aren’t long enough to solve the issues,
Facts aren’t straight enough,
Voices raised falling on deaf ears,
Eventually, you succumb to them.
