Imagine Love if you Die and I don't

By Sabyasachi Bardoloi

Imagine a day when the autumn winds slowly herald their passage to winter.
Colours so beautiful slowly turn to grey.
Fragrance in the air slowly fades away.
Imagine love if you die and I don't.

Snowflakes fall from grace on a dark sky full of haste.
Logs of fire burn out in me, of warmth and despair, mixed is the feel.
Dusk casts its spell for a long night to be.
Imagine love if you die and I don't.

Looking back at time, the river of my life got flooded in me.
Rain and hail made me frail, as I simply lost out on any trail.
Soaked to the brim splashing at my free will - I wake up to a bad dream.
Imagine love if you die and I don't.

Spring is a time, bountiful and forthright - nip in the air is all about love.
The flowers bloomed their best ever bloom for lovebirds to feed and to sing.
The sun is out, spreading a ray of hope - centre left and right, casting its effluent spell.
Imagine love if I die and you don't.
