I love birds, I don’t know why?
They are such wonderful creatures
Black, white, dull or bright,
Lovely coloured feathers and distinct are their features.
Birds to us… human beings…
Ah! Ah! Copy us as much as you can,
After all, you are the ultimate human mind!
I may be a parrot or a mynah
Oh! We regret—why should we mimic you all?
You captivate us and decorate your dwellings.
We have few things to say and share our feelings.
Learn to live a carefree life like ours.
Learn to weave a cozy nest and love your fellow beings, if you can.
Be sure, stay focused and glide like the eagle, if you can.
I, the vulture, may be eating the remains of the dead—for it is my food
Cleanse yourself and your surroundings,
Play the role of a scavenger, if you can.
Love Mother Nature, enjoy what you do, dance like a peacock
And spread happiness, if you can.
Spread your wings like the albatross, smell the fragrance of the vast ocean and touch the sky, if you can.
Rise above all ill feelings, perch on the tree top and stand tall, if you can.
Be “yourself,” confident and calm—like the swan swimming with his head held up high in the muddy pond.
You always aspire to own the world
Try to disown your possessiveness, if you can.
Dear human beings,
We are unique, for God has created us (so has He created you all).
We have a short lifespan and never announce our death,
For we shall remain beautiful until our last breath.
I love birds, now I know why.
