If only, my heart said;
He had kissed me to say he cares.
But why can't you feel the warmth of the sun's kiss on your soft cheeks;
The blooming sunflower said.
If only, my heart said;
He had stood up for me as my man.
But why can't you stand up for yourself;
The fluttering butterfly said.
If only, my heart said;
He understood my pain.
But why can't you tell the trees about it;
And let the first drizzles wash your aches away.
As I sat speaking my heart out to the green pastures around;
The wild flowers seemed to come forward embracing me with open arms;
The breeze around me let the falling blossoms comfort my wounded heart;
Whispering into my ears tunes echoing healing words of love.
The fluff of clouds seemed to move away to show the smiling blue skies above;
Nature's got your back, the smile said;
Tap into your inner world, that holds magical healing powers.
