I see within

By Kashish Bhasin

I see
I see out, I see within.

Happy faces I see, that happiness is of within
sorrowness I see, that taste too is within
the smell of the rain, the moist soil,
that smell too is within.
Evil within, Good within,
sorrows within, joy within,
I see the thorns, the roses not outside,
The ugly and it's opposite all within.

I see,
I see out,
I see within.

I see the evening sky,
the stars, the endless vast sky, the stars,
For I know not, why I feel that all is within.

I wonder,
I wonder a lot, my eyes look at stars,
I know not, I wonder a lot

My eyes wonder just the way,
I am looking far, far at starts,
someone there,
there on the stars is too looking here,
They too wonder the same,

A new wonder begins,
and that wonderful wonder is within.

I see the sea,
the blue giant sea,
I look far, far away.

my eyes see the blue Goddess
meeting it's God,
I wonder a new blue Juliet born,
Juliet again running to her love.

Something in the inside wonders,
wonders, that love is not out.
And I see that love within.
I see Juliet's love within.

I wonder, and I wonder again,
across that blue sea,
there is a land,
a land same, beneath our feet.
a land, with people,
land with people similar,
having same wondering eyes,
just like I have here.
I wonder two lit lanterns,
one here one there,
I wonder this, I see out,
I saw that out,
but I now see the two lit lanterns within.

I am standing, on the shore,
on the sand.
wondering my remote friend on the other land,
that,
that lantern, too must be wondering the same.
just similar way, something wondering inside me.

That ocean, that sky,
that friend, that lantern
is not out, but somewhere within.

I read,
I read the Augustus, I read the Caesar.
I read the Cleopatra, the Lady Macbeth,
I read the spice.
I wonder, and I wonder often, where lies that dice ?
A dice, a stage, of act,
I wonder is that somewhere out ?

The Salt of Cleopatra,
The spice of Augustus,
I see where does that salt, spice lie ?
Innocent Eyes,
too small to blame the paper, the words, the book,
My Eyes are too small to see,
to see words have a taste.
thus, I wonder all that lie within.
I see spice and the salt all within.

I stand on the sand,
the beautiful land,
sometimes soft, sometimes not.
My ears hear the birds singing,
both black ones white ones singing.
I wonder, I see the beauty
the beauty of songs of birds, all within.
I see that black and white all within.

The land I stand on,
I see it tough, sometimes I see not.
I wonder, what makes a land a tough land.
thus,
I fall on the land, the beautiful sand,
I get wounds,
I see those wounds within.

then,
I fall on the land, tough land,
I fall on rocks and stones,
I get wounds,
I see those wounds within.

I wonder, I wonder again,
why everything lies within.

I see,
wounds within, healing within,
lies within, truth within,
the evil within, good within,
sorrows within, joys within,
ugly, beauty, are within
No Love, and Love, all within,

I see,
I see out,
I see within.
