I never saw snow, its gentle embrace,
Nor felt the sea breeze, a soft, salty trace.
Mountains untouched, their heights I can't scale,
No trips with my friends, no laughter to hail.
I have never ridden a bike, the thrill of the ride,
Or driven a car, with the world as my guide.
Brand names are strangers, I have never bought,
Food cushions unknown, new flavours I have sought.
Late-night parties, their magic I miss,
Rock songs unheard, no K-pop bliss.
Makeup untouched, no colours to wear,
Sometimes I wonder, am I lost in despair?
Am I left behind, as the world rushes fast?
Or just taking my time, making moments last?
With each step I take, I will find my own way,
Creating my journey, come what may.
Yet dreams whisper softly, calling me near,
To explore all the wonders, to conquer my fear.
To dance in the moonlight, to laugh with the crowd,
To savor each moment, to feel life so loud.
I will seek out the mountains, the snowflakes that fall,
I will ride through the valleys, I will answer the call.
With friends by my side, adventures await,
No need to compare, I will embrace my own fate.
For life is a canvas, and I will paint it bright,
With the colours of joy, in the day and the night.
So here's to the journey, both big and small,
I will cherish each moment, and I will rise after all.
