A melody so pure, full of love and cure.
A book so sweet, mindful and blissful to tweet.
A recipe so good, tastes like tangy sweet food.
A movie so right, with love, pride, and light.
That is my mom and dad—pure, sweet, right, and never bad.
Yet one of them remains utter pleasure,
And the other one always a hidden treasure.
Yes, that unexplored terrain is Father,
Who remains around the family like a pillar, rather.
He laughs and lauds with the family always,
Keeps them warm with healthy and golden sunny rays.
He is the one who giggles and smiles in joy,
He is the one who plays games and healthy ploy.
He frowns and gets angry for some reason.
God forbid, he also goes through life-changing seasons.
He gets hurt for his own bad show-off,
He cries hard for himself, hides it with a laugh.
He is all smiles for his family around,
Tries hard—very hard—to stay always grounded.
He is, for sure, as sweet as a mother,
Sometimes a sister, and even plays brother.
The roles he plays are numerous and profound.
Whatever he gives, yes, sometimes comes back around.
Yet he gets up again with energy and vigor—
That is Father, my readers. Smile, so cheer.
Sharing and caring are his traits for sure,
Smiling in tough times is, for me, a magical cure.
Bringing up the cheer is notably his dear subject,
Gearing and rearing it with Mom, in fact.
Exploring the terrain is your right,
Getting it from him always—giving it back is your might.
Love and care are never a one-way traffic trick.
He is the hidden gem—do bother to show and pick.
