Your eyes ever gleaming
like rays of sunshine,
Lips filled
with a radiant smile.
A mere glance of yours
makes one feel welcomed,
A spare moment with you
unburdens a heavy heart.
One of a kind,
Oh dear you were indeed kind,
Your goodness ever flowing
from the cup of life.
An angel like you!
Gone too soon,
Heavens forbid
lest we corrupt you.
No matter where you are
know that you are loved and cherished.
Every day as the sun dawns upon
I shall bathe in you;
my morning glory.
Every time I hum a tune
I will hear your soulful voice.
I look forward to our rendezvous
on the darkest nights, my little Firefly.
On stormy days as the skies darken
I shall await you, my little Dragonfly.
A smile will carve upon my lips
seeing you drinking nectar
from the roses as a Butterfly.
I will wave my hand towards the heavens.
Never shall I seek you among the shrouds.
I will miss your presence and love.
Indeed you will be missed
My little Angel!
