In a far away universe,
Even Cupid and Venus would have wept,
Witnessing how pristine my love is for you
And how much I've endured
Knives to my heart,
Me falling off the sky,
Bombs to the mind,
But amidst it all
This love has remained unwavering.
In a far away universe,
Even Cupid and Venus would have argued to the Lords to land on this Earth,
To comfort me,
Seeing how immaculate my love is for you.
Sharing and caring is one thing
But to love like a man is another.
The mind may be right,
But the heart never goes wrong
Try to keep my mind open,
But keeping the mind open doesn't
Shut out the heart.
I may be bone-headed
And my faith preposterous
But what is love if it doesn't have some foolishness?
In a far away universe,
Even Cupid and Venus would have felt proud,
Witnessing a true lover,
A person who still believes in the magic of love
And moreover in the sanctity of it
In a world where love and its ideals are crumbling down.
In a far away universe,
Even Cupid and Venus will weep,
For they know that
My life is like a Shooting Star
Here today and gone tomorrow
But the glaze of it signifies my love
Which will forever be etched in their memory.
