Earth is a refectorium of mortality
passed by the serpent.
Dust receives the final egress of its kin
by its tender flesh and maggot-infested tendons,
seeping into the earth
as the final hour sets in.
It symbolises life coerced in life.
Life tries to sacrifice her maidens
from being forgotten
in the windchimes of time
casted over the landscapes of earth.
She wages her vengeance
and salvages for the bloodshed
permeated into her
from the hands of mortals.
When striked once,
Earth unfurls twice,
succumbing to its punitive forces.
From dust you come,
to dust you shall return.
