Fallen angel

By Akshay Suresh

To the angel I saw,
To the angel I fall
I am a broken soul,
Broken the moment the shadows were gone.

Wait for me there,
Keep your last drop of tear.
Know the depth of my love,
Before all my thoughts disappear.

Pieces align,
Darkness arrived,
The game has begun
I am scared in the line.

Sybaritic mess, peculiar quest,
Dropped in the dark—suffocation.
No space to catch on to my breath.

Thoughts with a bond,
Fake smile and a nod
Robbed all what I got,
Can’t hope the demons to be gone.

Lost all of the game,
Sword fell on my name.
Creepy thoughts, lust, and shame
Left soul tainted in the rain.

Can’t help this disguise,
There’s no path for my stride.
Free falling through sky,
In a pit with no bottom to hide.

Too lost and alone,
There’s no thought that I got.
Creative barriers are broke,
As I am dancing amok.

Murky faces, malleable mind,
Caught in a battle—no answers to why.
Sunk in the depth, grandiosity of time
I want to be gone...
It’s death that’s being shy.
