Don't blow my candles

By Sugandha Bhandari

Wine and cheese,
Some politics, please,
Don’t slander me; Plastic breathes.

Pencils don’t heal.
There isn’t an emotion left real.

The best way to do this - is that.
It’s not like this, it’s like that.

Here is how you can save your marriage.
Here is a plus-size bride riding a carriage.

Don’t ‘love child’ me,
Be inclusive, some curves are not just cursive.

Normalize mental health; turn up the shutter.
I dig your Bundt cakes with vegan butter.

My organic cheese grew mold.
My opinions – don’t crumble, don’t fold.
