Crumbling Fate, Alive in Love

By Arunav Das

The winds as it rushes, crumbling my fate.
The moon if only it shines a little brighter
And love, if only I could feel a twinge mightier!
For the night is cold and dark, and so am I
Now I’m tired; taking shelter in the moon.

A cold comfort in the weeping times of November,
As my heart stretched an inch, reaching for you,
carrying myself to the arms of happiness, asunder,
With euphoric melodies all alike, swerving the view!

Buried desires once again ignited in the apex of love,
 I leaped into your arms, not squandering any tick;
Embraced by heaven, it felt, swooping away an eternal agony,
I took your finger and learnt to walk again in a click.

Seeking the sun, a hope for a rescue
For now, I rest in my grave, and wait and chew.
The moon if only it shines a little brighter
And in love, if only I could feel a twinge mightier!

In your eyes, unfurls an endless sky of love,
Of care, and of being together and the holy above.
Embraced and enshrouded by the love, I strive
I sing, I dance, and am Happy, Fulfilled and Alive!
