By Ghulam Ali Abbas Husain

I practice every day and night
What I would say if she were here
And I wonder with all my might
What she would say if she were to hear
If I told her how her eyes dance
I could fill the pages of books
Would it be worth the chance
To tell her how her smile looks
Her beauty is but clear to all
A simple glance and you can see
With those eyes she’s the belle of the ball
Gentle like the shore but deep like the sea
There’s nothing left for me to say
Nothing really left to do
I hope to see you soon some day
Hold your hands and say I love you
