Chol fire jayi abaar choto belaye, 
Shue thaki khola akasher tolaye,
Tarader poth dekhe raat jagi,
Rongin jeeboner kotha bhabhi.

Chol abar hashi mon khule,
Jeeboner shob dukkho koshto bhule,
Chuto-chuti kori ghore ar bayire,
Hariye pheli nijeke boroder abdare.

Chol boshe kheli khella bati,
Khujte beroyi gondo bheja matir,
Brishtir opekkhaye kagojer nouko banayi,
Janalar pashe bheja hawa khete dadhayi.

Chol chute jayi aam gacher tolaye,
Bondhuder shathe duli dolaye,
Be porova hoye doudhoyi khola mathe,
Thoke shue pori chaand tola raate.

Chol mayer achole chupe sheet kati,
Chol babar hath dhore arekta pod hati,
Chol jibon katayi emni khela khelaye,
Chol na... abar fire jayi shei chotto belaye.
