Stuck amidst the tormenting imagery of you with someone else,
And the bittersweet pleasure of finally liberating you.
Naïve was I, as I poured my love -
Too late to realize it was but a grim portrait to you.
You left without grounds, snatched away my peace,
Left me thrusting upon ‘Why?’
I try to bear hate from you,
Only to be left defeated.
Faith has steered us to the next chapter,
But I'm left punished with the memory of you.
Damaged as it is, this heart still anticipates
To find you again with our "Happily Ever After."
