Celestial Beauty

By Prof. (Dr) Chitra Thrivikraman Nair

Oh, mighty Moon, enchantress of the night,
A celestial beauty, casting ethereal light.
You grace the sky with your radiant glow,
A silver orb, captivating all below.

With a tranquil face, serene and serene,
You mesmerize, like a deity unseen.
Your gentle beams touch land and sea,
Creating a shimmering tapestry.

In the dark of night, you reign supreme,
A guiding beacon, a celestial dream.
Silent witness to secrets untold,
Stories whispered, your presence unfold.

You court the stars with a subtle grace,
And in their embrace, you find your place.
Together you adorn the heavenly stage,
An eternal performance, an eternal page.

You've witnessed tales of love and despair,
Embraced by your glow, they become rare.
Lovers under your watch, dreams ignite,
Romantic moments bathed in lunar light.

The poets, they sing of your mystical charms,
Inspiration sparked by your tranquil arms.
From ancient times, you've held your sway,
A muse to dreamers, night after day.

Oh, Moon, you hold the power to inspire,
To ignite our souls with a celestial fire.
In your presence, we find solace and peace,
A beacon of hope that will never cease.

So shine on, Moon, in your radiant glow,
Captivating hearts wherever you go.
A companion to all who gaze above,
The eternal symbol of mystery and love.
