Away from hemlock trees

By Snigdha Soraba

Life is an unpredictable game
We get used to people and lead our lives their way
When do we find time for the freedom we want to paint?

I have gone deep till where the laughter turns into tears
I have learned to walk away from the wisphers of fears
So now I paint on a stretched canvas, free
Now I peacefully breathe, away from the place which was filled with hemlock tree

I stand here with my own pawns
Ready to take the next right move,
Lead my life by dancing in my own groove...
I'm reinforcing my painting of freedom
And rule my best in my very own kingdom
