An Intruder in My Garden
Hey you! What are you doing there?
Are you trying to pluck out the flowers
of my hard-earned friendships
Or steal the fruits bored by my resilient bonds?
Is it you
Who tried to suck the flowers’ nectar
The essence of my existence
My very hope to live.
Were you the one
Who tried sabotaging those hard and steady tree- trunks
The solidarity of my relations?
Are you going to kill the bright, hot sun
Owing to whom my green plants of kin live?
Is it you
Who will blot out the lush grass
Of the contentment given by my loyal people
Or will you erode the fertile soil
The foundation of my relations?
Oh come on,
If you can’t curate such a blooming garden
Why do you destroy mine?
