Tiny tiny ticketing thing,
Do you know how it lives?
Sociable, hardworking, lives in colonies,
Except Antarctica, found on every continent commonly.
Big and small in various colours,
Caring but omnivorous.
Its life is like lilies,
Females are more in their families.
One is queen ant, the others are workers,
Two stomachs — one for itself and the second for feeding others.
Can lift 20 times its body weight,
By sniffing scent of one another, they make a line straight.
Some can swim like a fish, some can fly like a bird,
Surviving for 10 months without water for them is not hard.
Can enslave the other ants,
Difficult they are to count.
Six legs and body in three parts,
They are nature's amazing art.
