Alone – Delhi Poetry Slam

Alone

By Sanjana Krishna Upadhayayula

Being occupied in their own world,
Spending time with their own self, unfurled.
Not to be in any relationships,
Longing for varied new trips.

Absence of any new adventure,
Passing life as usual, pure.
Every emotion felt immensely,
Eyes untold, yet seen so intensely.

Every object viewed with care,
Different perspectives prove what’s fair.
Dressing style which’s not adored,
Focused on goals that can’t be ignored.

Millions and billions live around,
Yet seeking peace where it’s found.
Called by names from far and near,
Exploring life, shedding each fear
