A Poem That Isn't True

By Maliha Azhar

She liked winter and the snowfall, nothing to grieve and nothing to lose.
Her dad is taking her to her favourite cafe, where they serve coffee with tears. She dearly looked around and found the pieces of her scattered glass jar.

Her favourite teddy bear named 'pinky' is still there.
But it was all an illusion.
The snow is mortified with the coldness, it served to people of the grave, and the grief is never ending.

Her dad is buried inside the pile of earth, under which one day, she ought to go. She looked around and never found the scattered glass jar, but there is a piece of a jar concealed over her heart. The favourite teddy bear had been thrown away or might be somewhere under the rubble.
And this poem ain't true, but have you ever read a poem that isn't true?
