At 5, all I wished was
to write with pens like a grown up teen.
At 15, I wanted to quit school
and have a job like the adults I had seen.
At 25, I wished to be 15 again
and skip the pressure of finding a job.
Now, all I want is to be 5 again
and play and sleep and giggle and sob.
If innocence accents joy
I choose to be wiser but dumber.
Let your inner kid prevail
afterall, isn't age just a number?
