"People gave birth to wars.
Their excuse?
We have peace to create.
Little did it serve the purpose.
Little did everyone know peace is just a camouflage of what resembles hate.
Slaughter lives to save one.
In order to survive you better take one.
Shed foreign blood to prevent your own from dripping.
Happiness at the expense of something so gruesome.
Are we humans worth forgiving?
I was told to look for a silver lining
But I couldn't find any.
Instead of making people feel liberated, it captivated the minds of many.
I still consoled myself to look for something good that war had to ignite.
Like the sense of courage after victory
and
how the clouds of fear eventually subside.
This act still was very much evil because none can bring back the people who died.
I still didn't complain much because I did not get to choose sides.
My mind went through a major upheaval
when I accepted the lie,
maybe war was a necessary evil.
