The sun was hot
But the day was cold
Because I was been told
To cook, to clean, to stay in the cellar
Until he came clean.
The men ruled
and the women obeyed.
They were to hunt
And we were to be haunted by the days.
The women felt weak
And followed the same to their daughters,
To bear the pain and please the man
As he is the upper hand.
But one fine day the goddess was born,
The daughters became women
And fought for them all.
They broke the cell and claimed their rights
They broke free as they flied.
The captured butterflies were to be released
To make the world filled with
colours and trees
As the men had cut the trees.
And as the equality finally began
The men came to fight,
To whom it was for them to find
As it was the men who said-
“Men cannot cry”.
We stayed, we obeyed,
But when we fought and broke the cell
Why was it them to be saved.
