Looking into the reflection of my eyes,
A mirage of worry surge in them.
The broken is within,
Yet I seek solace in others.
This invisible burden I drag with me,
As I float in an ocean of nothingness.
I keep looking for something I never lost,
Yet the search seems never-ending.
I feel the need to breathe,
The air that doesn’t exist.
Holding my breath a little too long,
Rather than letting it flow within.
But once I realised the ways of the world,
I listen, not just hear.
I mean, not just say.
I live, not just exist.
Trying to find myself in you,
Only to get lost deeper within.
You are in me,
And I am a part of you.
This was beautifully written! Well done. “Holding my breath a little too long” makes this poem so relatable! It really drew me in. Keep going! Can’t wait to read more.
The witness lives in the world just like everything. He/She may be in a hut, he may be in a place. It makes no difference. What difference does it make to a mirror whether the mirror is in a hut or in a palace? What difference does it make to the mirror whether is reflecting beautiful diamonds or just ordinary stones? It makes no difference to the mirror. – Osho
Observer and Observed are one and the same
When the observer and observed and the subject (thought) being observed become one and the same there is absolute nothingness.
Ultimate truth reveals itself.
