The Ghost of My Past

By Sheena Cecilia Pereira

I tried keeping my past where it was
But it came biting my back
I opened a grave and put it there
But someone keeps digging up
From its bone
When I cremated it
I saw people playing with its ashes
And when I tried to throw it in a river
I saw them drinking it

It doesn't matter what you were it matters what you want to be , it is important for someone to carry Guilt conscious but stay humble and not give into superiority ,

the bundle of past is only a lessons and not to be seen as a result of regrets , I know we trust that one person only to see them having blood on their hands and well a sharpest knife stuck to your back.

The concept of letting go is seen into theory and it works great but when it's put into practical it takes time, weeks, months and well your deathbed.

Letting go hold a weightage and Carries a burden of forgiveness ,
well it's only a burden when it does not come from your heart as a desire to forgive someone.

Understanding pain - if letting go doesn't happen easily then understand where you are coming from and from where they are coming , you can't be expecting reasonable answers for why they did what they did to you
it's like asking a snake why it hissed at you instead of running away from it.

Know that it happens and it happened and you will be at a better place , you will get your justice and peace , if standing up for yourself did not help then just hold on to your faith.
