I was a beautiful wandering soul
With a spirit ful and liberated body
Imaginative mind full with ideas
But a lonely heart stuffed with voids
Contagious smile that curved on the lips everywhere.
Became the numb eyes that cried every night.
Past which taught me
became the past which haunts me
Memories which rejuvenated the spirit
Became hazy and fogged with it
Nights which significated the beauty
Became the beast which gives me fright.
Tried to encage every fleeting jovial moments.
But sadness crawled in and filled up the spaces.
Wanted to be a bird exploring every heights.
But became a kite who lost its sight
Emotions which gave me stability
Became like a paper who lost its vitality.
Altruism which harboured the light
Became the darkness that left me alone to fight.
The ambition for which I hoped everyday.
Became the goal that poised me everyday.
Confidence which ignited the valour in me
became a Mirage to capture.
