So good life was it,
When we lived together.
But that bloody second,
Destroyed every end.
This is a story of love and loss,
Of a brother and sister who paid the cost.
The world was full of dead.
When in a home bide two hearts beat.
Back in the days, life was swell,
Together we dwelled in our wooded shell.
Life was real gold, you know,
Me and my sweet sis in a small house, just so.
They loved each other with all their hearts.
They vowed to never be apart.
A sibling pair, like chicks in chest,
Not in coop, but in a cosy nest,
Monsters and ghosts, their secret guests.
In the heart of green they bide, we called it home,
Creatures lurked around, we weren't alone.
Love filled our home, a shield so strong,
Yet shadows danced, where we belong.
It was a special day, her birthday bright,
I warned her of shadows, of ominous light.
But free-spirited, she took a chance,
Into the shadows, stepped where phantoms dance.
I was out getting wood for some yummy food,
Door open, she thought all was good.
Into the clutches of spirits so sly,
A brother late, so desperate cry.
World is full of dead, I warned her, but she didn't see,
Out she came, thought I was near, silly as can be.
Saw her coming out, such a chilling sight,
In the grasp of ghosts, a helpless fight.
Ran to save her, woods dropped from my hand,
But I stumbled, fell on the haunted land.
Ghostly hands grabbed, flew her into the shadows dark,
I ran to catch her, a futile embark.
Long sharp nails, they put in me,
Left with her shoe, a memory to be.
Please help me, God.
Creator of us, the Earth's lord.
He cried out for the reply,
Which he never got, a tragic fact relay.
He then embarked on a quest, through woods so wild,
To find his love, lost in dark tides,
Fighting monsters and ghosts, like a wounded child.
A journey full of flesh and blood, oh my,
Fighting, struggling high, but he didn't wanna say goodbye.
A river under Crocs he crossed.
His body with one leg, the other cut off.
Under a tree, I rested, for blood ahead.
Hugged her shoe, cried so hard,
Tree turned monster, attacked me in the yard.
Tried to consume me in the bright dark,
With axe in hand, I fought the gloom.
Cut off its stream, escaped from the loop,
Kept on going, my journey reshaped.
Escaped with scars, he continued the ride,
One leg less, but love as his guide.
After all the struggle, he finally got to her,
Face all scared, a painful eye blur.
One leg less, fingers left four,
One arm broken down, body all torn.
Destination reached, with body full of pain,
Tried so hard, but all in vain.
Tried hard to save her, my heart did shout,
Ate and threw her, a monstrous rout.
Watched her being eaten, thrown, broken,
Tried so hard, words left unspoken.
Her body full of blood, her body torn apart,
Anger on face, his eyes turned dark.
He halted the monsters with rage,
With fire in eyes, to put them in cage.
But they beat him, put in him their nails,
Pushed him in dark, they ran in embark.
With great difficulty, he crawled to her,
Leaving blood road behind, a constant flowing guilt.
Eyes full of pain a reservoir with tears filled.
I couldn't save her, felt the loss,
Life ended, on my chest she tossed.
One who was a bad dream for ghosts,
Couldn't save his life from lost.
In the end, she met a fate so Grim,
Love lost, shadows won, in a forest Dim.
