The quaint little coffee shop, around the corner,
adorning wind chimes, flowers and trinkets
everything was perfect
except they always served coffee late!
Waiting for my brew, killing time,
I looked around trying to make my morning sublime
The lovebirds in the corner,
planning to build their nest
The friends departing for what lay ahead,
unmistakenly though, the promises being made
The old lady with twinkle in her eyes on that pleasant day,
teaching enthusiasts few, how to crochet
A rather handsome nerd, amidst this buzz
watching the life pass by,
and probably turning heaps of coffee into beautiful words!
The quaint little coffee shop,
deliberately serving the coffee late
giving a chance to pause and connect,
and with that, making the day perfect!
