BY ANVVI SINGHI
As I walk through the sand,
With dust in my eyes,
I glance at my hand,
Steadily, Unfazed.
My legs are trembling,
My body all worn out,
Deep down inside,
I long to shout.
The mirage blinding my vision,
As I take each step quietly,
With precision,
Suddenly I see an Oasis, an elixir of hope.
I shrug, thinking it is just a mere illusion.
As I reach near, my vision clears
Before me an oasis appears,
Truly an elixir of hope.
