HUMANITY
Humans!
Can’t we put our dissimilarities aside?
A mighty presence of animosity persists
Internally; externally; everywhere
Whom are we waging war against?
For what are we battling?
It’s religion;
Race;
Ethnicity;
Caste;
Or anything else
At least animals only fight
Cause of hunger
Introspection is the need of the hour
Let’s be humane first
A few extend their hand to the needy
Some express gratitude for this beautiful life
A couple attend to other beings with warmth, compassion
Dwells in them a glimmer of hope
All, together make the earth a better place
