Guilt- The Closest Call to Death

By Kriti Choudhary

What's a true man without guilt,
What's a true man who hasn't seen others built,
Through lights and darks of life,
Somewhere thunder of jealousy strikes.
And from there starts the war,
in which jealousy messes up with the brain
loosing all senses a man lives for.
Victory without any happiness is soon celebrated
with gloomy clouds of thoughts that stand out.
This starts the true war, where it's only you against you,
one with guilt sorry for you .
Sleepless nights, endless thoughts and crumbling stomach all surround,
there is no escape from the brain hell as it bounds,
all sins and cruel acts come around,
making it difficult for our own selves to be found.
Depressed as hell, the man sleeps crying to god,
asking some aid for the ache caused.
Finding no remedy , the panic makes him difficult to breathe
No one to talk to making it worse, he pleads,
He settles himself with few words to ease.
Waking up the the next day, carrying a fake smile
That's how a man just died without dying under the real pile.
