Counting Inspires

By Priya Priyadarshini

Inclusion is acceptance, not teaching
Learning makes a civilization,
ignorance drafts for downfall;
feeling inclusive is great.

How do we practice that?
Making slogans or praises for her hand,
working hand can do that,
prefaces and headlines need not carry the arch.

We develop the nation with her raised ones,
some write history rightly,
some ignite fire untimely,
while few make life solely.

This day celebrates her, dedicated to her,
but does she make less importance yesterday, tomorrow, or the day after,
no, I think she drenched more sweat last evening,
time changes efforts remain static.

She carries a generation of ripening buds,
do not finger on her share,
she is the best to care for,
never thought for those timeless hours goan agony.

Why not celebrate her?
Life is quite exciting for one and all,
virtues do count on them,
love takes no form but the equilibrium of a happy mind.

Life does not work on an asked platter,
this regains power with self-control and compassion,
inclusiveness comes with behavior and dignity taken,
let's embrace the unseen privilege we all possess.
