I stargaze on a dark night,
Ocean spread in front of my eyes.
Makes me wonder of our planet's might,
and, how timid are you and I
Human alone can't destroy earth
for this we are too weak
All who live shall turn to dirt
no matter how long you delay
chance of survival is oblique.
Knowledge will help the people of future,
but what language will they know?
where must I hide my scrolls,
before from this planet I go.
Must I dig a hole in a garden
or hide it in the mind of a child
No matter what I do,
none shall survive
For time has cast an eternal quest
but the rules were against us
you may live with joy, laugh with love
or in sorrow you can hide
but, you shall not survive.
