A Verse of Life

By Rohit Khandelwal

What's original, what's fake?
What is real down the lake?

Be it Modi, be it Rahul,
To ace it, can play foul.

Maybe a boon, maybe a curse,
Life has incoming many verse.

Could be a beginning, could be an end,
Hidden something in every bend.

Metaphors, melancholies or irony,
Truth can be drama, so funny.

What did I hear? What do I play?
Does that come out from the same clay?

I say I have beliefs, I have perceptions,
Is that ringing a true connection?

I did what I desired. I pulled well and perceived,
Still, a feeling that I am the one got deceived.

In the end, I may not get what I want?
I must not let the pressure, keep me haunt.

Life goes on.
Life goes on.
