Kadambari Gupta, a postgraduate with an LL.B. degree, is a passionate writer and co-author whose love for literature began in her school days. Her bond with pen and paper was forged in the eighth grade, and since then, writing has been an inseparable part of her life.
In 2022, she ventured into professional writing and has since contributed to over 1,173 anthologies as a co-author. Her work has also appeared in various esteemed magazines, and she is the proud author of five solo books.
Eager to refine her poetic voice, Kadambari has actively participated in numerous poetry competitions. Alongside her literary pursuits, she nurtures a deep appreciation for music, which continues to inspire her creative journey.
Q:You have said that your love for literature began in 10th grade, can you share the story behind it?
Since school days writting was always my strong point would score well in essay writing section especially in Hindi decided to improve my skills in English as well also poetry has been an essential part of our curriculum , and the poetry The Road not Taken by Robert Frost is forever etched in my memory.when I was in class eighth write my first ever poetry for my dada ji whom I lost when I was only six years old and realised how writing poetry heals ones soul and also when poems are written for special people around us each line make them feel so beautiful and special about themselves.
Q: You are a published author of 5 books, what continues to inspire your writing journey?
There are so many thoughts that I get each day so many emotions are felt and those emotions when penned down get a name and identity also i believe poetry has a healing touch as well ,so till my last breath i just wanna write, express ones feelings heal people and connect with people there emotions through poems . There are many issues such as , Body- shaming , Mental -Health, Bullying and Social Media that have affected millions of people around us so through poetry want to highlight my views and thoughts on these critical issues as poetry allows this writer to be oneself and not bound by the boundaries laid down by people and society.
