You can't let fear steal your funk

Sudhanshu Tiwari

For the one last time say goodbye again
Mend your armour and swallow the pain
One last time make your heart numb
Coz' you can't let fear steal your Funk
Let that be enough for now
Enough of low enough of down
You know you gotta sleep
You know, You've got to wake anyhow
One last time dream the Meteriot
You gotta keep holding tight
Stop that ship from being sunk
Coz' you can't let fear steal your Funk.
Lost in the dreams, caught in a world
Sailing the ship, while sinking unheard
Barely Surviving , dying inside
If only I can keep things aside
To lie down and sleep
Roam in and around my dream
To get lost in one of those
To believe in what I chose
Fall down while crawling
Disappointed in self but yet enduring
Living in a bubble just to burst
Not learning from mistakes that I made at first
Chasing uncertainty while following a pattern
Diffusing in a ring like a Saturn
Scream that I can hear inside
So mute and nebulous outside
Not able to sink not able to swim
Hell I just need that one win
To get lost in my dream once again
Only to get caught in the world of sane.
For the one last time say goodbye again
Mend your armour and swallow the pain
One last time make your heart numb
Coz' you can't let fear steal your Funk.
