Street Children – Delhi Poetry Slam

Street Children

By Anu Priya

Children with innocent face

But their childhood is disgrace.
Scattered hair and no study tables and chairs..
For their future  no one cares.
They don't have anyone anything to share.
 Dirty clothes but shiny eyes.
Each moment their future dies.
They don't know love and compassion
This situation gives me depression.
They hold plastic rappers with their smalls hands.
They have no family and no friends.
They never open the school door.
They don't have home or bookstore.
So many laws and so many rules
Still street children are treated like tools.
They should be cared and we shouldn't avoid.
They are tomorrow's future can't be deprived.
Open your arms and improve their situation.
 children are God's best creation.
Don't say they belongs to street and road.
They are innocent children and made by God.
