She Shouldn't Have Been Born

Her new eyes are seeing
the room in dim light.
Her new ears are hearing
the villainous rain.
Her new nose is breathing
the terrible storm.
The world is drowning.
The world is drowning.
She shouldn't have been born.
Her new eyes are seeing
the room in gaudy light.
Her new ears are hearing
the villainous fire.
Her new nose is breathing
the terrible steam.
The world is burning.
The world is burning.
She shouldn't have been born.
Her new eyes are seeing
the room in foggy light.
Her new ears are hearing
the villainous cracking-ice.
Her new nose is breathing
the terrible frozen-air.
The world is freezing.
The world is freezing.
She shouldn't have been born.
