Pulse and Pain

TANIA ROSA

We, like the two drops that raced down a glass,

Curled and stretched and danced,

To the rhythm of our breaths heavy on the other’s face,

With no trail left behind.

Like pulse and pain, we mix

Beating our bodies together,

You cum me – a great amalgamation –

As we dwell into the wet walls of the lips.
