Oh My Dear God

By Mital Kalariya

I have heard that you are merciful!
Then why you send me to beg food?
Why I can't eat at home?

I have heard that you give justice!
Then why I am getting garbage from street?

I have seen children going to school!
Then why I am working at small shop?

I have seen playing children at park,
Then why I am begging money on road?

I have seen people are living in big houses,
Then why we have to live in street?

I have seen people love children,
Then why they are ignoring me?

I have seen people are wearing fashionable clothes,
Then why we don't have clothes?

Oh God please reply me!
One day I had gone to meet you in a temple,
Where you live.
But I was thrown out,
Because I had not wore clean clothes.

I have heard that God is for everyone,
Then why they thrown me out?
What is my fault of being a son of street man?
Am I not your child?
Oh God please reply me!
When will people accept us?
Oh God please reply me!
