Hopeless Sinks

By Pranshu Chaudhary

You all are grown up, not afraid of dark!
You all are stronger, yet crying on scar mark!
I know you can swim, still sinking in.
All time apologising for making no sin.
We all know you work hard still have rat’s eye.
A mouth and two hands, why don’t you fight?!
You’ve a roof that leaks when it rains.
We have a heart that just cries on your pains.
With those legs and spine, you’re not making stand!
And once they would realise, laws are theirs to amend.
Seeing that wet cloth tied for controlling hunger,
How can that be thrown is something we should ponder!
Your life in daylight seems just like a darkness.
What, since then, they all did, if we’re still hopeless?!
If you wanna fall down, then I just don’t see a choice!
But we can probably change this, for a moment hear my voice!
Your tattered cloths every time makes me hate mine.
All night in fever, still says that it’s fine!
Every time new diseases come and kill many.
But is this system such failure, to can’t offer a penny?
Still you don’t make a stand to be found!
It’s your fault in sitting hopeless, sinking deeper down!
